THE Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort is set to complete their resort-view courtyard rooms in two week’s time.
Area director of Sales & Marketing at Outrigger Hospitality Group Ben Johnson said the five-star resort on the Coral Coast had recently undergone a multi-million dollar transformation, emerging as a modern beachfront haven that blended five star comfort with Fijian hospitality, which was completed last year.
“Located on the ground floor of the Malevu wings, these spacious rooms offer a private courtyard with direct garden access, ” Mr Johnson said.
“Ideal for families and larger groups, each room features 47square metres of interior space and a private 19 square-metre courtyard, ideal for enjoying tropical surroundings, ocean breezes or quiet evenings under the stars. Accommodating up to two adults and two children or three adults, this 19-room collection includes six interconnecting rooms, which can be combined to create a two bedroom suite with courtyard.”
He said these resort-view courtyards rooms were ideal for the family market, adding that 75 percent of guests coming to the resort are families.
The resort also opened launched its refurbished plantation pool bure, an exclusive new category designed for couples and honeymooners.
“Inspired by traditional Fijian village homes, these exclusive accommodations feature vaulted tapa ceilings, thatched roofs, and private terraces, blending authentic island charm with modern elegance,” Mr Johnson said.
“Each of the seven 50 square metre bure includes a king’s bed, a private landscaped pool and accommodations for up to two adults and two children or three adults.
“Guests enjoy enhanced amenities such as priority VIP check- in, daily Talai Butler services, evening turndown with a liqueur nightcap, and sunset sparkling wine with canapes. Additional perks include a high tea experience, premium in room coffee, laundry services, and high speed WIFI.”
In addition to this is a new water slide at the main pool and a floating inflatable playground add to the resort’s family-friendly appeal, ensuring endless entertainment for all ages. The resort has 205 hotel rooms, 47 bure, five restaurants, one cafe and six bars.
