HOST club Nawaka is aiming for a hat-trick in the oldies competition.
The side which won the title back to back in 2014 and 2015 goes in as the favourites boasting some of Fiji’s 7s stars of yester years.
Api Naevo, Lalai Driu, Opeti Turuva, Ilai Derenalagi, Sailosi Nawavu, Setareki Varo and Esala Labalaba will be part of the team.
The side recently toured Australia and played in an exhibition match against the Victoria Masters.
A total of $5000 was collected and it was given to the Victoria Red Cross to aid the victims of Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston.
Players from the team have also joined the non-governmental organisations to help the victims.
The oldies competition will start this afternoon with the winner walking away $2000 richer.
