THE morale is high for champions HLB Mann Judd Suva as they prepare to defend their Extra sponsored-Futsal Inter-district Championship title starting today at the Vodafone Arena in Laucala Bay.
The Capital City side received a timely boost yesterday with HLB Mann stepping in as the official title sponsors for the title holders meaning that the team will be known as the HLB Mann Judd Suva Futsal.
Suva coach Vivek Nadan said preparation was going well with majority of players from the IDC last weekend back in camp.
“We’ve got most of our boys back from the football IDC, we’ve had a few sessions with them, they’ve been pretty good, and all have recovered from their niggling injuries, so we are 100 percent ready to defend the title” he said.
HLB Mann Judd Suva has dominated the Futsal IDC for the past six years.
The team has played in the last six finals losing only one in 2022.
Coach Nadan has commended the team’s unity and the support of their sponsors as the cornerstone to their stronghold on the prestigious Futsal title.
HLB Mann Judd Suva will take on Nasinu in their opening match today at 4pm.
