The South Pacific Boxing Promotion event (SPBP) that will be held today at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park is billed as one of the biggest and history-making events as there will be three international IBO title fights in one night for Fiji and the region.

During the official weigh-in yesterday, promoter Freddy Chand said majority of the boxers were present for the weigh-in and were looking forward to the fight.

“All the boxers have made the weight today and all the bouts are on tomorrow (today),” he said.

The promoter said it was good to see big numbers here and they expected a bumper crowd today.

“From South Pacific Boxing Promotion, everything is going smoothly, and we urge boxing fans to buy tickets to avoid disappointment.

“All the bouts are sanctioned and ready to go tomorrow (today).”

He acknowledged everyone who turned up at the Nair Dias for the official weigh-in yesterday.

“I want to thank everyone for coming out in good numbers to support the event,” added Chand.
