The Minister said her extensive background positions her well to guide the Commission’s strategic direction at a critical time for the tertiary sector.
In announcing the appointment, Mr Radrodro said the Commission’s responsibility is to ensure quality, accountability and continuous improvement across Fiji’s higher education institutions.
He said strengthening oversight, addressing systemic gaps and fostering collaboration among registered institutions would be key priorities to improve outcomes for students nationwide.
The Minister also expressed confidence that Ms Naiyaga’s leadership would help raise higher education standards and support the development of a more responsive and future-focused tertiary sector.
