The FIJI Water Flying Fijians are buzzing with energy and confidence as they prepare to take on Canada in the Pacific Nations Cup (PNC) semi-final on Monday.

Head coach Mick Byrne shared an inside look at the team’s preparation, highlighting a renewed focus and high spirits following their successful pool stage campaign.

Following their victory over Samoa the team took a moment to celebrate their accomplishment.

“After the Samoa game, it was a good chance for us to get together and celebrate the fact that we topped our pool and we were heading off to the States to do our finals,” Byrne said.

“We’ve trained well; there is a lot of high energy in the camp.”

Byrne said the is a good sign for the team heading into the finals.
