A heavy rain warning remains in force for the entire Fiji Group as Tropical Depression TD07F continues to influence weather conditions across the country.
The Fiji Meteorological Service said TD07F was analysed near about 520 kilometres west-southwest of Kadavu at 3am today.
The system is moving south at approximately 25 kilometres per hour.
An associated active trough of low pressure, accompanied by widespread cloud and rain, is currently affecting the group.
There will be occasional to periods of rain with a few thunderstorms and heavy falls are expected over Yasawa and Mamanuca Groups, Western and Northern Viti Levu, including areas from Rakiraki to Tavua, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi, Sigatoka and the Coral Coast, interior of Viti Levu, including Interior Ba, Nadroga-Navosa, Ra, Naitasiri, Serua and Namosi, Lau and Lomaiviti Groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands and the Northern Division.
Elsewhere, occasional rain and a few thunderstorms are forecast.
The Weather Office warned that persistent heavy rainfall may lead to flash flooding, particularly in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
