The whole of Fiji group is now under a heavy rain warning,
The Fiji Meteorological Service states in its special weather bulletin issued at 4:30pm, an active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain continues to affect whole of the Fiji group.
“Forecast for the whole of Fiji group, is for occasional to periods of rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms,” adds Fiji Met.
Possible impacts include flash flooding of some low-lying areas, informal settlements, small streams and iris crossing leading to disruption to traffic flow.
Drivers will face reduced visibility on the road due to heavy rain.
