Heavy rain warning cancelled for parts of Western division

A heavy rain warning remains in force for parts of Fiji group but is now cancelled for the Mamanuca group, Western half of Viti Levu in an area from Coral Coast, Sigatoka, Nadi to Tavua, Beqa, Vatulele and Kadavu.

The Nadi weather states an active trough of low pressure continues to affect parts of the Fiji group with rain expected for the next few days.

For the Mamanuca group, Western half of Viti Levu in an area from Coral Coast, Sigatoka, Nadi to Tavua, Beqa, Vatulele and Kadavu, there will be cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms with heavy falls expected.

Fiji Meteorological Service states for the rest of Fiji group, expect occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms that can lead to localised to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas.
