THE people of Fiji, especially Jarryd Hayne fans, will be able to buy the Hayne apparel locally.
Speaking during the launching at BLK shop in Lautoka yesterday, Hayne said he was grateful that BLK had agreed to partner him through the sales of his apparel.
Hayne was accompanied by Fiji 7s reps Samisoni Viriviri, Pio Tuwai and Masivesi Dakuwaqa for the launching witnessed by hundreds of people who were later given the chance to take photos and autographs from the star players.
The Gold Coast Titans fullback said BLK had assisted him to have apparel sold locally.
“I was in the country and was bit in trouble getting a shipment over here and I thought of bringing in store and BLK has been great and helped us get over here and for you,” said Hayne.
BLK general manager Josefa Matau said the launching was a proud moment for the company.
“It’s a proud moment for us as a company to have the sole distributors rights of Jarryd Hayne apparel rights in Fiji,” he said.
“We are proud to be associated with him and it is another milestone just the ability to provide a buying platform for all Fijians.”
Matau said the launching also allowed local fans to personally meet Hayne. The apparel included basketball vests, T-shirts, caps and AFL match balls.
