THIS year’s Father’s Day is a special occasion for Inia Vuli and his family as they also celebrated the birth of his two grand-daughters.
Mr Vuli, who travelled all the way from Ogea Island in Lau last month says he is fortunate to be spending Father’s Day with his two daughters and their relatives in Nakasi.
Inia Vuli with daughter Grace Lagilagi Vuli and granddaughter, Keziah Cuatabua Tikovakatawa, 2 months, at their home in Nakasi.
“Two of my daughters gave birth two months ago on the same month, but few days apart, and that is a blessing to our family,” he said.
He also expresses heartfelt sympathy to those grieving the loss of their father, especially on Father’s Day.
The Matuku lad believes fathers and father figures worldwide deserve celebration for their hard work, dedication, and sacrifices made to support and uplift their families, recognising their vital role in every household.
