THE growth in its real estate entity has prompted Lautoka realtor Vyas Deo Sharma to register a new business arm — Khelvin Property Management Pte Ltd — to focus solely on managing properties around the country.
This latest $500,000 investment came into mind after the former MP noted the need to manage well the 50 properties they look after.
“We have decided to establish a separate entity to manage properties we look after especially during this time when there is COVID-19 and a lot of property owners can’t come to Fiji,” Mr Sharma said.
“They still have their properties here and they are calling us to manage them so what we have decided is that we will form a separate company to manage the properties.
“It was always being done with the real estate business but it becomes a bit too much for our sales people to control the management of properties so I have decided that we will separate property management.”

This separate entity would specialise in managing and maintaining the property, cleaning, grass cutting and many others.
Mr Sharma said they would provide employment opportunities to people from across the country as they planned to have their own construction arms as well as many other entities that would ensure proper management.
He added they would also have administration teams which would involve a lot of people and would also open branched in Nakasi and Labasa.
The real estate business has branches in Lautoka, Nadi and Suva.
The company manages 50 properties and most owners are overseas.
