Group invests in sports shop

TO meet the growing demand for quality sportswear and sports gear, Tabusoro Group has invested more than $500,000 in the set-up of a new outlet in Suva.

The shop, at Union Plaza along Thompson St, will start operations today after its official launch last night.

Tabusoro Group executive officer Abdul Azad said they were proud of the Fijian product and had plans to establish more outlets in Nadi and Labasa.

“Our clothes are produced overseas but we are planning to set up a factory here for Tabusoro production. Tabusoro is a Fijian word and it was only appropriate that we open our first shop in Fiji,” he said yesterday.

The company specialises in a variety of sportswear, sports gear, caps and bags with prices ranging from $20 to $50 for quality Tabusoro sportswear depending on the material and design.
