The upgrading of the main playing field at Prince Charles Park in Nadi commenced the other day as I saw when I walked past it.
It is not so often that municipal councils embark on renovations such as this one because of lack of funds and expertise.
I believe Nadi Town Council is on the right track renovating the main pitch. I think the parameter fence and the pavilion and the main car park also need refreshing at the same time.
Because of the refurbishment, the park is obviously not useable until the work finishes.
The life and the value of your property are sustained if you undertake to renovate it from time to time.
I am glad our council decided to upgrade the park which I think was long overdue.
There is no doubt that once upgraded the park will attract more bookings and revenue for the council.
In fact the whole town benefits economically through the events at the park.
Let’s make our town stadium as attractive as possible so that we lure more events in the future.
Nadi is not only centrally located, but well equipped too.
