The new academic year for 2024 will officially begin on January 29.
The new school term dates were released by the Government yesterday.
The first term will begin from January 29 to May 3, and the school holidays from May 6-17.
The second school term resumes on May 20 to August 23, and the school break from August 26 to September 6.
The final school term will resume from September 9 to December 6.
According to the Government, the dates had been carefully planned to ensure all educational institutions had ample time to prepare for a successful year of learning and teaching.
“These dates will give all heads of schools ample time to plan and effectively organise their programs and provide the best educational experience for our students,” the Government stated.
