ANDRA Whiteside and Liam Fong lost to Ghana’s Emmanuel Donkor and Stella Koteikai Amasah 1-2 in the badminton mixed double competition at Carrara Sports Arena 2 in Gold Coast, Australia yesterday.
The pair started well winning the first game with a score of 22-20 but Ghana came strongly in the second half to win the remaining two games 21-6 and 21-12.
Badminton Fiji president Barry Whiteside said it was a tough match.
