Fuel and LPG price reduction effective tomorrow

Fuel and LPG prices will go down from tomorrow.

According to the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC), it determined the new regulated prices of unleaded petrol, premix, kerosene, diesel and LPG for 2020.

Motor Spirit (Unleaded) will now cost $1.80 a litre, a decrease of 26 cents a litre.

Premix will now cost $1.43 a litre, a decrease of 47 cents while Kerosene has been decreased by 39 cents a litre and will now cost $1.08 a litre.

Diesel will now cost $1.69 a litre, a decrease of four cents a litre.

A 4.5kg cylinder has decreased from $14.43 to $14.03, a decrease of 40 cents.

The 12kg cylinder has dropped from $38.47 to $37.42 while a 13kg cylinder will cost $40.53, a decrease of $1.14.

Bulk gas had been reduced by four cents a kg and will now cost $2.605 a kg.

Autogas has also dropped 4 cents per litre with the new price being $1.74.

The new prices come into effect from Friday, May 1.
