  • WHEN you drink you forfeit the right to interact with sober people, says Resident Suva Magistrate Seini Puamau. She said this when a case of a mother who had beaten her daughter while under the influence of alcohol was called before her in the Suva Magistrates Court.
  • HOME Affairs Minister Pio Tikoduadua says his ministry “is pushing hard” to bring back the Cybercrime Act 2021 under his portfolio. He said that Communications Minister Manoa Kamikamica had shown his support for this move.

  • PROCESSES are currently being followed for the review of the Fiji Police Force Standing Orders, says Home Affairs Minister Pio Tikoduadua. Speaking to the media last Friday, he said the aim of the review was to ensure the Standing Orders reflected the Coalition Government’s vision of “creating a more professional and compassionate police force”.
