Suva businessman Fugang Zhao says allegations by Australian media that he is involved in unlawful activities in Fiji are “false and misleading”.
The claims, made in Australian newspapers and a television show, included that he was a Chinese Government agent of influence in Fiji.
Mr Zhao said through his lawyer yesterday that allegations of unlawful activity had not been put to him by the Fiji authorities. That’s the lead news on Page 1 of The Fiji Times for Tuesday, March 26.
