What a game that was yesterday at Churchill Park in Lautoka, when the Fijian Drua defeated the Waratahs on a fine day.
It rained intermittently but that did not dampen spirits and the fans lapped up a thriller that ended in a historic achievement.
And the man of the moment was Kemu Valetini.
When the gates appeared to be shutting, he went against the the grain and slotted in a drop goal that catapulted the Drua to victory.
What a game! What an ending! Beautiful… simply beautiful! And certainly one for the times.
