A FIJIFIRST Party (FFP) candidate has been linked to the circulation of documents, which have been widely shared on social media, purporting to be an analysis from within the Republic of Fiji Military Forces calling on the military to ‘intervene’ to correct alleged breaches of the constitution and the rule of law under the new Government. This was revealed by Opposition Leader Inia Seruiratu during an interview with The Fiji Times online news portal The Lens@177.
He said he had taken the responsibility to check if the document had surfaced from within his side of the House.
That’s the big news on the front page of The Fiji Times for Wednesday, August 2. It was good to finally be able to talk to Mr Seruiratu freely and openly after years of us been on the ‘other side’. We were happy he agreed to an interview on The Lens@177 with Felix Chaudhary our managing editor digital.
We have more reports from this interesting interview on Pages 2 and 3.
