French President Macron thanks Fiji for producing great rugby players

French President Emmanuel Macron has thanked Fiji for producing great rugby players whom he has described as “added flavour to the French flair”.

In meeting Fijian Minister for Environment Mosese Bulitavu at the Ocean Conference in Nice, France, the two shared a light moment where they spoke about the Fijian rugby flair.

Mr Bulitavu said Mr Macron had also sent his regards (loloma) to the Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.

“He also thanked Fiji for producing talented Rugby players that adds flavor to the French flair.

“Also thanking Fiji for hosting the French Rugby 7’s team that trained in Fiji before the Olympics last year.”
