THE Government Shipping Services (GSS) vessel, MLC Vunilagi departed for Yasawa on Monday.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the ship is expected to service Yalobi, Viwa, Nacula, Navotua, Naisisili, Bukama and Yasawa-i-Rara under the government franchise scheme.
For Lomaiviti, its second franchise trip was scheduled for January 20 to January 22. Interlink’s MV Ohana port of call are Qarani, Sawaieke, Nawaikama, Lovu and Nacavanadi in Gau before making its way to Natauloa, Lawaki and Waitoga in Nairai. Its last stop will be at Nakasava in Batiki.
The Goundar Shipping Limited’s Lomaiviti Princess XII will be servicing the lower Southern Lau from January 22 to January 26. It’s port of call are Kabara, Fulaga, Ogea, Vatoa and Ono-i-Lau.
The second Northern Lau franchise trip will be on January 27 to January 30. Goundar’s Lomaiviti Princess VII will stop at Cicia, Tuvuca, Cikobia, Vanuabalavu and Yacata.
The second upper Southern Lau trip will be on January 27 to February 1.
Lomaiviti Princess XII will be stopping at Vanuavatu, Nayau, Lakeba, Oneata, Komo, Moce and Namuka-i-Lau.
To Northeast Vanua Levu, the MLC Liahona II will be departing on January 31. It will stop at Malau, Cawaro, Nukusa, Nukudamu, Nabouono, Vunikodi, Cikobia, Naqelelevu, Rabi, Saqani, Lakeba, Tawake, Wainiika and Yasawa.
The Beqa, Yanuca and Vatulele franchise trips with Yasayasa Moala (second run) and Kadavu is yet to be confirmed.
