THE Nadroga rugby 10s tournament pool games played at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka last Saturday finished with four teams undefeated from their respective pools.
Tovolea 1, Army Nadroga, Highlanders and Sigatoka 1 are the undefeated teams after day one of the competition.
The breeding ground of Fiji’s rugby champions featured 28 clubs for this tournament.
The eliminations and final will take place on Saturday.
Matawalu added that the Nadroga clubs have now reduced after 10 clubs were released to the Navosa Rugby Union.
“We have released 10 teams to Navosa Union since its organisers are located in the Baravi area.
“Eight teams from Baravi and two from the interior of Sigatoka have joined Navosa,” Matawalu said.
The Nadroga rugby team is also preparing for an overseas tour as they travel to Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand later in March.
