THE former CEO for the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF), Opetaia Ravai, has filed a lawsuit against the authority for what he claims is his unjust, unfair and unlawful dismissal.
Mr Ravai’s lawyer Simione Valenitabua today confirmed in court that they had served his client’s claim to WAF on Wednesday early this week.
Mr Valenitabua also withdrew the original summons, which was filed, and said that he had served the writ of summons to WAF.
He stated that his client is seeking for reinstatement, reimbursement and compensation because his termination in December last year was unlawful.
