Update: 4:19PM ATHLETICS National coach and former Pacific Sprint queen Makelesi Bulikiobo-Batimala will leave for the United States tomorrow to further pursue studies on her coaching career.
Today, she received a scholarship given to FASANOC via the United States Olympic Committee in partnership with the University of Delaware and the International Olympic Committee Olympic Solidarity to study through the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate program (ICECP).
FASANOC chief executive officer Lorraine Mar said the program is an intensive coaches program offering lectures, projects, guest speakers, participant presentations, group work, field trips and project planning and implementation.
