Fiji’s former Attorney-General, Anand Singh has passed away in new Zealand.
This has been confirmed by a close family member.
Mr Singh who was a lawyer by profession was the AG in the Mahendra Chaudhry government from 1999-2000.
The late Mr Singh was amongst 43 members of parliament who were taken hostage on May 19, 2000,
From 2001 to 2006, he served as one of eight senators nominated by the Leader of the Opposition
