Former attorney-general Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum’s application for urgent medical assesment in Singapore has been denied.
Chief Justice Salesi Temo issued Mr Sayed-Khaiyum’s ruling on variation of bail this morning at the High Court in Suva.
Also present today was the former AG’s wife, brother Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and relatives.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum is facing abuse of office charges linked to payments made to the former supervisor of elections, Mohammed Saneem.
