SUPPORT for Rewa FC continues to grow ahead of the OFC Men’s Champions League 2026, with football associations and clubs from around the country rallying behind Fiji’s sole representative.
The Nadi, Nasinu, Nadroga and Tailevu Naitasiri football associations have all extended their best wishes to the Delta Tigers as they prepare to take on Oceania’s top clubs.
Nadi Football Association president Mohammed Mohin said Rewa’s participation was a proud moment for Fijian football and deserved the backing of every supporter.
“Rewa has earned the opportunity to represent Fiji at the highest club level in Oceania. We wish the team every success and hope they produce performances that will make the entire country proud,” Mohin said.
Nasinu Football Club president Jagindar Singh “Rocky” echoed the sentiment, saying the tournament was an opportunity for the entire football fraternity to unite.
“Rewa is representing all of Fiji, not just one district. We wish the team every success and hope they make the nation proud,” he said.
Nadroga Football Club president Pannu Padiyachi said domestic rivalries should be set aside when a Fijian club competes on the international stage.
“Rewa is carrying the hopes of Fiji in the OFC Men’s Champions League. We wish the team all the very best and hope they make the nation proud,” he said.
Tailevu Naitasiri Football Association president Sundeep Roy also backed the Delta Tigers, saying the team would represent the entire nation when they take the field.
All four associations also called on football fans across the country to fill Churchill Park and get behind Rewa throughout the tournament, saying it was a chance for Fiji’s football community to stand together and support the nation’s representative.
Rewa opens its OFC Men’s Champions League campaign against Galaxy FC of Vanuatu at 3pm on Sunday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Tickets are $7 for adults, while children under 12 receive free entry.
