Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women speedster Merewairita Neivosa is determined to enhance her strength and passing skills ahead of their upcoming match against the Waratahs tomorrow.
Neivosa showcased her prowess by scoring a double in their impressive 32-21 victory over the Reds on Sunday, earning her recognition as the fans’ choice for player of the match.
The Nabau, Tuva, Nadroga native shared her experience in her debut against the Reds.
“The first half I was scared but in the second half I was confident.
“This Saturday, I will want to improve on my strength, passings skills and also my main focus is keeping up my fitness to play well again and earn my wing position,” Neivosa said.
Meanwhile loosehead prop Sala Nabuli is committed to enhancing her carrying technique and lineout processes.
“I have to improve on carrying low, coach has been talking to me about it and also process during line out,” she said.
The Vatubalavu lass from Navosa also wants to work on her confidence.
“First time I was scared but this week I have to improve on my confidence, I am happy to be part of Drua family, my family is proud of me and are always motivating me to do better,” Nabuli said.
Her focus this week is to win and make fans proud. The match kicks off at 3.35pm.
