BUA natives Phillip Tuinirarama and Anisa Vakarewasa were respectively named head boy and head girl of St John’s College in Levuka, Ovalau, this week.
Fifty-two prefects were badged at the investiture ceremony in Cawaci.
They will be responsible for about 600 students at the prominent Catholic secondary school.
“The theme for this year is Integrity of Life, which is adopted from the Pope’s theme Consecrated Life,” said school principal Father Ekuasi Manu.
Lautoka lad Tyren Mote and Apimeleki Nakarawa, who hail from Nadroga, were badged as deputy head prefects for the boys division.
Adi Wainikiti Matewai of Ovalau and Cassie Kamsoo were elected deputy head girls.
