EXTRA Bula Football Club chairman Marc McElrath says he will not comment further on the matter surrounding RK21 and will instead focus on the team’s preparation for the matches ahead.
“At this time we won’t be commenting any further; we are focusing on the team and the games ahead,” McElrath told this newspaper in correspondence.
The issue stems from comments previously made by Extra Bula FC chairman Marc McElrath regarding RK21, which is believed to be owned by club captain Roy Krishna and has since sparked strong public interest.
Acting commercial manager Naziah Ali-Krishna also told this newspaper that she would not be making any comments at this stage as she is awaiting legal advice.
“I’m just waiting for our lawyers to confirm my statement, as it may be contentious. I need to be careful about how I phrase things to avoid breaching the contract,” she said.
