THE Vodafone Inter-zone competition was launched last Thursday at Churchill Park, Lautoka in the presence of zone delegates, officials and captains.
While delivering his address, the FNRL deputy chairman, Peni Musunamasi indicated his appreciation to all delegates and representatives for their effort and also challenged them of their roles and responsibilities.
The participating zones in this year’s inter-zone competition are Lautoka Crusaders, Ra Roosters, Nadi Aviators, Nasinu Titans and Nadroga Knights.
Besides, the zones were presented with sporting gears and equipment for their respective teams.
Following the launch, all zone officials and representatives attended a day-long workshop on the rules and regulations of rugby league.
