Employers can now directly register new workers for their Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) membership through the Fund’s newly-enhanced Employer Self-Service Portal 2.0, launched in Suva last week.

This was among the features possible now with the portal upgrade, which has simplified administrative tasks for employers.

They can now also make FNPF contributions directly through various methods, including MPAiSA, Visa, Mastercard, or BSP Easy Card.

FNPF board director Mukhtar Ali said the portal “symbolises a robust partnership between FNPF and our valued employers”.

“It goes beyond being a transactional space; it’s a dynamic ecosystem enhancing efficiency, transparency, and empowerment,” Mr Ali said, hailing it as a “symbol of a robust partnership between FNPF and our valued employers”.

Considered an important element of the fund’s digital transformation, the portal now features feedback enabled mobile-friendly interface, can now generate automated compliance letters and facilitate third-party compliance verification among other features.

FNPF’s chief executive officer Viliame Vodonaivalu, while recognising employers’ contribution to FNPF’s growth, said the employer portal is proof of what can be achieved through shared vision.

“Let this celebration be a collective commitment to a future where collaboration continues to drive progress,” Mr Vodonaivalu said.

“May our partnership flourish, bringing new chapters of success, empowerment, and shared accomplishments.”

In its recently-released 2023 annual report, FNPF revealed out of 10,108 registered employers, 99 per cent used the portal during the financial year.
