Flood warning for Waimanu and Nadi rivers

Flood warning has been issued for the Waimanu and Nadi rivers.

The Fiji Meteorological Service states a flood alert remains in force for flood prone areas adjacent and downstream of Wainimala, Waidina, Wainibuka and Ba river.

Water level at Ba FSC station at 7:30am was 3.26m which is above alert level and increasing.

Water level at Nadi bridge station at 7:30am was 3.99m which is above warning level and increasing.

The weather office states a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain continues to affect the Northern and Northeastern parts of the country.
