The National Weather Forecasting Center in Nadi has issued a flood warning for the Serua coastal areas up to Suva and Nausori.
The warning was issued at 8pm tonight.
A flash flood alert continues for the whole of Fiji.
A trough of low pressure with cloud and rain is affecting the islands, with rainfall in the last six hours ranging from less than 10mm to 30mm.
There is a possibility of flooding in drains, small streams, low water bridges, crossings, roads, and properties in low-lying areas.
