Five members of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission took part in their swearing-in ceremony at Government House this morning.
The Chairperson of the Commission is Dr Marcus Brand.
The other Commission members are:
1- Former judge Sekove Naqiolevu
2- Former Fiji TV journalist and a graduate from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Politics, Rachna Nath,
3- Life coach company director Ana Laqeretabua
4- Retired Fiji Airways Captain, Rajendra Hiralal Dass
Fiji Truth and Reconciliation Commission is designed to promote open dialogue, address historical grievances and foster national unity and reconciliation within Fiji.
The Commission Secretariat is being set-up and its work is expected to commence soon.
