Two fishermen from Ba are in police custody after officers allegedly discovered explosive materials in the vehicle they were using to sell fish.
Police say the men were stopped during a patrol in Ba’s Chinatown yesterday afternoon.
A search of their vehicle uncovered several sticks believed to be dynamite along with fuses.
The materials have been handed over to the Ministry of Resources Department for examination.
The two fishermen remain in custody as investigations continue.
