The reunion celebration of more than 50 retired firefighters and staff members of the National Fire Authority was held at the Fiji Club in Suva on Saturday.
Batch of 2001 spokesman Ropate Pareti said the event was commemorating the many years they dedicated their service to NFA.
“The class of 2001 wanted to celebrate our 21 years anniversary and also to honour the firefighters that died in the 7/11 attack in America,” he said.
Asaeli Malewa from the batch of 1972 said he was happy to see the men who were like family during his years of service as a firefighter.
