THE 2016 Kaila! Star Search finalists are gearing up for their final performance on Saturday at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
The four solo singers and a duo act have only two days left to rehearse and prepare an act impressive enough to wow the judges and be declared the winner.
Talent co-ordinator Savuto Vakadewavosa said the finalists would showcase the best of Fiji’s talent and highlight the untapped skills and raw talent that Fijian youths possessed.
“All the performers have quite improved so now the judges would base their decisions on technical aspects of the performances.
“Paul Volau, John Hosea, Sainimere Vunakece, Queenie Morgan and sister act Lagi and Ofa Tivaknoa will put on an amazing performance come Saturday and the judges will have quite a difficult time declaring the winner.
“Friends and family are encouraged to come down to the final round of performances as they will be treated to two rounds of performances by the finalists,” he said.
Vakadewavosa said the competitors would perform one round singing a song of their choice followed by a song chosen by the mentors. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children and are on sale at Damodar City Centre.
