Suspended Fiji Corrections Service (FCS) Commissioner Dr Jalesi Nakarawa will reappear before the Tribunal handling his case for a final pretrial hearing later this month.

Dr Nakarawa appeared before Justices Daniel Goundar, Dane Tuiqereqere, and Savenaca Banuve in Suva yesterday afternoon.

One of the complaints against Dr Nakarawa alleges that he terminated a senior medical officer’s services, and his wife later filled in for this role in an acting capacity.

Since he has already received the disclosures from the first and second phases, the third volume will be provided to him next Monday.

Dr Nakarawa is represented by Suva Lawyer Simione Valenitabua.

The hearing is set to take place from November 3 to November 14 this year.

The case is adjourned to October 24.
