Update: 5:12PM THE State has gazetted 11 public holidays in Fii for next year.
The Government has approved the public holidays for 2017 through a Gazette Notice No. 68 released this week.
The dates of the 2017 public holidays are as follows:
1. New Year�s Day – Monday January 2;
2. Good Friday – Friday April 14;
3. Easter Saturday – Saturday April 15;
4. Easter Monday – Monday April 17;
5. National Sports and Wellness Day – Friday June 30;
6. Constitution Day – Thursday September 7;
7. Fiji Day – Tuesday October 10;
8. Diwali – Thursday October 19;
9. Prophet Mohammed�s Birthday – Monday December 4;
10. Christmas Day – Monday December 25;
11. Boxing Day – Tuesday December 26.
