Update: 10:13AM THE Fijiana women’s rugby team lost their second pool match against Australia at the 2016 Rio Olympics this morning.
Australia proved too strong for the Fijiana side and led 19-0 at half time.
They dominated play in the second half and went on to pile more points, with the final tally being 36-0 in their favour.
Fijiana defeated USA 12-7 in their first pool match early this morning.
They will need to win their last pool match against Colombia at 4am tomorrow (Fiji time) to keep their chances of progressing at the games alive.
