The Fijiana 7s team will have a lot to play for when they take part in the Rugby World Cup Sevens in South Africa.
The tournament began yesterday and coach Saiasi Fuli said the side wore black armbands to commemorate loved ones they had lost during preparations towards the RWC Sevens.
He said the would remember Viniana Riwai’s sister, Kereleani Riwai, and the mother of Seini Raoma who was part of the extended squad for the RWC.
Fuli said they were there for the players in trying times and the girls would give it their all when they take the field.
Fuli believes the players have prepared well and done the hard yards throughout the weeks and they would have to trust the processes to get the job done.
