The Fiji Airways Fijiana team finished seventh at the Perth 7s after a dominant 41–5 victory over Great Britain women’s 7s in the seventh-place playoff.
Head coach Richard Walker said strong team bonding was one of the major positives to come out of the tournament.
He added that after reviewing their pool matches, the side produced their best rugby during the playoff rounds, despite a few missed opportunities along the way.
