The Vodafone Fijiana XV are set to face Samoa in their final match of the Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship this Saturday at Lawaqa Park, with kickoffs at 4pm.

Head coach Ioan Cunningham says the team is turning their attention to improving kicking accuracy, an area identified for refinement ahead of the crucial clash.

“For our next game against Samoa, we will work on our kicking accuracy for kicking goal,” Cunningham said.

The Fijiana side heads into the match with confidence following their 59-5 victory over Tonga last , where they scored 11 tries despite challenging weather conditions.

Cunningham was especially pleased with the impact of his younger and new players, who helped reinforce the team’s growing depth.

“It was great to see the new and young players come on the field to make an impact as we want to grow some depth in our team,” he added.

With the championship title on the line, the Fijiana XV will be looking to finish strong in front of their home fans at Lawaqa Park.
