THE highly-anticipated Fijian Cup returns to Sigatoka’s Lawaqa Park next month marking another year of the celebration of sport, community and culture through three main competitions.
Starting from November 7-8 with the Fiji Touch competition, the Fijian Cup will also include the Fijian Oztag which is scheduled from November 14-15 and the Fijian Rugby 9s on November 28-29.
The Fijian Cup features four divisions in the men’s, women’s, mixed open, and mixed masters with over $50,000 in prizes up for grabs.
The competition is set to showcase some of the best local and regional talent across the Pacific while also contributing directly towards supporting youth rugby development in Fiji.
A core pillar of the event is giving back to local communities and this is done through workshops and coaching clinics, Donate Ya Kit program, distribution of sports equipment and investment in local sporting infrastructure.
