Fiji’s performance in the Oceania under-20 Rugby Challenge was nothing short of impressive.

Their dominant 48-19 victory over Moana Pasifika on Saturday showcased their strength, speed, and cohesive teamwork.

From the kick-off, Fiji displayed their prowess with a solid set piece performance and showcased their speed and flair, leading to six unanswered tries in the first half.

Nemani Kurucake, Josua Uluibau, Aisea Tuisese, Eroni Sarasau, and Sivaniolo Lumelume all contributed to Fiji’s commanding 38-0 lead at halftime, Phillip Baselala further extended their lead with another try.

In the second half, Moana Pacifika showed resilience and energy, with fly-half Tyler Pulini breaking the deadlock for his team in the 54 minutes, followed by Alistair Saulala’s try six minutes later.

However, Tevita Sovau and Aisea Nawai ensured a decisive finish to the game, securing Fiji’s unbeaten run in the tournament.

The Fiji U20 team will now prepare to face Samoa in the final round at 6.30pm tomorrow.
