THE FIJI Water Flying Fijians side will be taking the match against Georgia at the Rugby World Cup like a final this Sunday.

The robust centre Josua Tuisova said this during an interview in France.

Tuisova said he watched the 18-all draw between Portugal and Georgia over the weekend and rated both teams highly.

“I watched the Georgia-Portugal match. They’re both good teams. We will not take them lightly, especially Georgia this week,” he said.

“The Bus” said this team was aware of the expectations from fans after the win against Australia.

“We are treating this game as a final for us and we will try to win this game. As a rugby player, I never underestimate any player. Every player is hard to play against.

“I try to give my best in every game I play.”

Fiji and Georgia have met five times in the past with the Simon Raiwalui’s men at the upper hand with three wins, one loss one and a draw.

The last time the two teams met was in 2021 when the match ended in a 15-all draw.

The last time the two teams played against each other at the Rugby World Cup was in 2019 when Fiji won 45-10.

The Flying Fijians take on Georgia at 3.45am on Sunday.
