THE Junior Bula Boys have officially begun their journey to the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Qatar.
The national U17 side departed Fiji on Wednesday night, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for these young footballers who will represent the nation on the world stage.
The team is currently in transit to Singapore before heading to Qatar, and will then travel by bus to Saudi Arabia for a pre-tournament training camp in preparation for the competition, which kicks off in just two weeks.
It was an emotional farewell at Nadi International Airport as proud parents, families, and supporters gathered to send the boys off with love, encouragement, and blessings.
The players, dressed in their official Team Fiji uniforms, were filled with excitement and determination, knowing they carry the hopes of the nation with them.
This will be Fiji’s second appearance at a FIFA U17 World Cup, and the team aims to make the country proud with their performance against some of the best young football talents in the world.
